Wedding Venues Details
The wedding weekend will take part in two separate venues, both a relatively short distance from the town (and the hotels). Transport from town to the venues will be arranged for all guests on both days so no need to worry how to get there on the day.

The wedding ceremony is to take place early in the afternoon at the Bukovje Manor which is approx. 20 minutes drive from Slovenj Gradec.
Weather permitting, the ceremony is going to be held in the manor's gardens, however if there's rain we'll move the event indoors.

After the wedding ceremony, all the guests will be taken directly to the second venue where the wedding meal and entertainment will take place. It's a small wooden ranch close to Pia's family home in a village called Legen. It's an indoor/outdoor self-catering space with heavy emphasis on barbequing. In the event of rain there will be an additional tent/canopy ensuring our guests are kept dry.
Please note that this is a very rural setting and nothing fancy. It's modest and very DIY. This is not a hotel or a restaurant and does not have the capacity for fine-dining. It does offer amazing views and healthy Alpine air, though (see the photo below).
Think wooden benches and log cabins in the woods. Bring some warm layers just in case and ladies, high heels are not recommended! For realz!

A post-wedding bbq is planned for Saturday which will take place in its entirety in the wooden ranch from the evening before.
The second day of the wedding weekend will be all about relaxing and spending time together while nibbling on some delicious food and listening to some chill tunes. This will be the time to truly take in the beautiful nature of the region and all that fresh mountain air! It will also offer an opportunity for Pia and Liam to spend some more time with all the guests and vice-versa!
Given that guests will have breakfast in their hotel, we also want to offer an opportunity to sleep in and enjoy the morning in town. This means that we'll kick-off our Saturday no sooner than early afternoon.
